How vivir is conjugated
Vivir is completely regular and is the model for all -ir verbs: drop -ir and add -o, -es, -e, -imos, -ís, -en in the present and -í, -iste, -ió, -imos, -isteis, -ieron in the preterite. In the present only the nosotros and vosotros forms differ from -er verbs: vivimos, vivís against comemos, coméis. For nosotros the present and the preterite coincide (vivimos). The same endings work for recibir, subir, decidir, permitir.
Conjugated the same way: recibir, subir, decidir, permitir, existir.
